<br />" t)'(.'f <br />~fe 2 and Exhibit 6 show the operation of Turqooise lake during water <br />year 1978. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Pueblo Reservoir <br /> <br />Pueblo Reservoir's oontent on Septanber 30, 1977, was 34,296 acre-feet. <br />'!.his water was CJNlled as follOlrlS: Bessexrer Ditch, 41 acre-feet and the <br />Fryingpan-Arkansas Project, 34,255 acre-feet. <br /> <br />Pueblo Reservoir oontent on SepteIri:ler 30, 1978 was 31,049 acre-feet. <br />'Ibis water was a.med as follOlrlS: High Line Canal 460 acre-feet; City of <br />Pueblo, 95 acre-feet; and the Fryingpan-Arkansas Project, 30,494 acre- <br />feet. <br /> <br />'lWin lakes <br /> <br />The project has not taken over operation of 'lWin lakes yet. ~ver, <br />project water was transferred to 'lWin Lakes by exchange to build up the <br />ownership to operate the J?ClI'13rplant and was later used to meet project <br />deliveries to the Southeastern Colorado Water Conservancy District. <br /> <br />Project ownership in ':tWin Lakes on September 30, 1978 was 1,639 acre- <br />feet. <br /> <br />During August and September the outlet \'lOrks at Sugar loaf Dam was <br />closed. 'lb meet delivery of project water to the Southeastern Colorado <br />Water Conservancy District it was necessary to boI1XM 4,000 acre-feet of <br />water fran 'lWin lakes. 'lhis will be returned fran the project owner- <br />ship. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Project Water Sales and Deliveries <br />The project sold 25,000 acre-feet of water to the Southeastern Colorado <br />Water Conservancy District. <br />Project deliveries as of Sepl:ellber 30, 1978, \\ere 22,993 acre-feet. <br />Deliveries \\ere made fran P1.leblo Reservoir and fran Tt.u:qooise Lake. <br />'!.here was no Winter Water Program in Water Year 1978. <br /> <br />Several entities had oontracts for storage of water in Pueblo Reservoir. <br />Nmerous exchanges \\ere made with other entities to transfer water fran <br />Pueblo Reservoir to Twin lakes and Tt.u:qooise lake. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />6 <br />
