Cooperative Studies and 4ctivities <br />(a) Article Vnf-G (I) of the Arkansas Riwr Compact requires <br />the Administration to cooperate with the Chief Official of each <br />of the State:; of Colorado and Kan!"Cls charged with the Admin' <br />istration of v.:atcr rights rtnd w,ith the FedeT,d agcn..::ies in a <br />systematic cktermination and ::orrclation of the facts as to <br />the flow and diversion of the waters of the Arkansas River and <br />as to the opcr;ltion ilnd siltation of John Martin Reservoir and <br />other related structures. Article VIII-G (1) requests the Direc- <br />tor of the United States GC010gical Survey, the Commissioner <br />of RecLtmation. and the Chief of Engineers, United SCltcs <br />Army, to collaborate with the Administration and with appro' <br />priate St,1t<=: officials in such determination and correlation of <br />stre,lm fluw and rl~Lttcd c\;lt:-t.
