The remarks that ~ <br />follow are off ereu as additional infl1rmatinn and also tend to describe ~ <br />the extent of the audit work performed. <br /> <br />General Comments <br />Schedule I, Page No. 4 reflects the beginning halance of cash In <br />bank, revenue assessments received from the states of Colorauo anu <br />Kansas, expenditures by classification ;mu the ending l1ahncc of cash in <br />bank. <br />As provided for in the hudget of the Minutes of the Administr;1- <br />tiun's Meeting (If Octoher 27, 1953 and authorized for call 111 the Min. <br />utes of October 26. 1954, funus due from Color"do (60j~) share) of <br />$1,440.00 ;tnd Kansas (40 ~{) share) of $960.00. were received for the <br />budget year ending JunC' 30, 1955 and deposited in the FIrst National <br />Bank in Lamar, Colorado on the respective dates of December 31, 1954 <br />and February 16th, 1955. <br />All disbursements were made by checks drawn on the Administra- <br />tion's ;tccount at the first Nation;~l Bank in Lamar, Colorado. The in' <br />dividual checks were examined for amount, signature and endorsement. <br />It was noticed that checks No. 148, 149 and 150 in the respective <br />;!mounts of $8.00, $33,50 and $19.40 cle.md the h,nk without the <br />required signature of the Treasurer. ThIS matter was discussed with <br />your Secretary-Treasurer amI it is thought it would be more expedient <br />if the Administration advises the First N:l.tlon,J.!
