Work includes
lining or piping the Price and Stubb Canals and

all of the laterals. The MCID and PID act as their
own contractor in completing the improvements
and the Bureau of Reclamation provides the
engineering expertise, inspections and funding,
The MCID and PID will also be reimbursed for
future operation and maintenance (O&M) costs
that exceed the present O&M costs,

REQUIREMENTS FOR IMPROVEMENTS

In order to improve a MCID or PID lateral,
a water user must obtain a petition from the
Salinity Coordination Office (address on next
page) and then have all the water users on the
lateral complete the petition and return it to
the Salinity Coordination Office, The lateral
will then be added to the construction schedule
for improvements_
