The resulting estimate of historical consumptive use for the Broyles
wells is included in Table Xl. The average annual consumptive use of irrigation
water from the wells was estimated to be 1,205 acre-feet.

For estimates of the net depletions to the Arkansas River which would have
resulted from the operation of the Broyles wells, both the depletive effects of
pumping and the return flow effects were considered. These effects were
calculated simultaneously using the SDF methodology to model the combined
ditch and well irrigation system.

Table XII includes the estimated net depletions to theArkansas River resulting
from the operation of the Broyles wells. The average annual depletion for the
study period attributable to the Broyles wells was 1,205 acre-feet, which is
equivalent to the estimated historical consumptive use for the wells.

\,
~ v~Ci
f'''
\ d2..../5 L
. a ::r
~ t:,t-5 v'll? \-9
(1(\0 ~( 6~ '~o--O-- l~'l\
,\ ::i \ ~ . {v>" (e..
b,~
'volpO-/l;' *'~
~ ~.e cr'-. o.
n e;l"'< . 0'''1 \-,<7'--
.x.----- ./"'"\ \ 0-'
12 {~ Iu-r'
t> ('__ c.-','
( \ 0 ..t.?
"~'- \

-21-
