White River Dam and Reservoir <br /> <br />Bingham Engineers of Salt. Lake City, Utah, have been the consultants to the <br /> <br /> <br />Division of Water Resources in the selection of a site and design of the structure. <br /> <br /> <br />The following pertinent data is taken from their report "White River Dam - Design <br /> <br /> <br />Data" dated May 1978. <br /> <br />White River Dam will be a zoned earth and rock fill structure. (See <br /> <br /> <br />figure 5.) It will have a 3 to I upstream slope and a 2 to 1 downstream slope. <br /> <br /> <br />The associated power plant near the downstream toe of the dam will develop firm <br /> <br /> <br />power with an 8 MW capacity, a Kaplan turbine and an average generating head of <br /> <br />104 feet.
