<br />1967. A concrete-block shelter was construcled near the south end of the <br />bridge lor the gas-purge manometer and the radio equipment. <br /> <br />Reconnaissance and test surveys were made" fOf the location of the <br />radin-relay stations between the Coolidge gaging stations and Garden <br />City. Transmission was found to be good with two relay stations, one <br />south of Syracuse and the other west of Lakin. The radio equipment lor <br />Ihe two staUons has been ordered from Leupold and Stevens Instruments, <br />Inc. <br /> <br />The Administration approved a cooperative agreement with the <br />U, S, Geological Survey lor the fiscal year July I, 1967 to June 30, <br />1968 in the amount $11,500; $5,750 lor each party. Four thousand dollars <br />is for the operation of the Compact station at Lamar, the additional <br />field work at the other Compact stations, the providing of current <br />streamfiow data, and the preparation of records for the Annual Report. <br />The remaining $7,500 is for the procurement and Installation of the <br />new FM radio equipment. <br /> <br />9.
