Morrill Jack Palma <br /> <br />Enclosed for your information is the report on the results of the <br />operations during calendar year 1978, to comply with the agreement <br />with Mexico entitled, "Permanent and Definitive Solution to the <br />International Problem of the Salinity of the Colorado River," <br />incorporated in Minute No. 242 of this Commission. <br /> <br />The report states that the operations were in compliance with the <br />agreement. The differential between (1) the average salinity of <br />the waters delivered upstream of Morelos Dam and (2) the average <br />salinity of the Colorado River waters that arrive at Imperial Dam, <br />for the calendar year 1978, was 116 ppm (U.S. count). <br /> <br />The report also describes developments relating to other provisions <br />of Minute No. 242. <br /> <br />If you have any questions, please advise. <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />~iedkin <br />Commissioner <br /> <br />Enclosure <br />As stated <br />
