Generally, a lower level manager will irrigate at a <br /> <br />lower rate per hour than a high level manager. <br /> <br />Water users in the Grand Valley are charged at the rate of $7.00 per <br /> <br />acre regardless of the amount of water used. The cost of irrigating <br /> <br />will vary between management levels because of varying amounts of labor <br /> <br />used by the three management levels. Generally, a lower level manager <br /> <br />will use more water and require more labor time per acre because of <br /> <br />inefficient application of water and/or an inefficient system.
