After subtracting annual operation, main-

tenance and replacement cost allocated to irrigation the balance would be the

amount available annually to repay project costs.

Agricultural Benefits

Agricultural benefits for the project total $1,188,000. These benefits

are $1,096,000 and $92,000 from full and supplemental service lands, respec-

tively. Table 10 presents the budget summary of the full service benefit

analysis. As explained previously, because of the small ameunt of project

water going to supplemental land, benefits for supplemental land were

determined using the full service benefits per acre-foot of $89.85. Table 11

shows the break down of total benefits.

Unit

Table 11
Agricultural benefits
Full service
land
6,550
12,200

Total
8,000
13,000

Supplemental
land
1,450
800

Acres served
Water supply
Benefits
Direct
Indirect
Public
Pressurization
Total

acre s
acre-feet

$1,000
$1,000
$1,000
$1,000

974
73
49
o
1,096

64
5
3
20
92

1,038
78
52
20
1,188

Direct benefits are those benefits accruing to the direct users of

project water, and are measured by the increase in net farm income attributed

to the project.
