,. ,

,.,

-

Long-term Actions

The 100iger-term strategy is one of evaluation amI acUustment, gapfilling, and public
education. These lead to the consolidation of public land-use concerns at each level of
government into streamlined, trustworthy, and competent institutions. The Commission
has establi~hed a land-use program planning process, not a static plan. It proceeds from goals,
and targets to programs whose implementation includes monitoring and evaluation so that
modification of programs or of goals or targets can tuke place. Thus, as the State land-
llse program begins to operate, ancl as Coloradans begin to perceive its effects, the program
can respond nexibly and realistically to new conditions that affect the State's economic
health, environment, and overall CJuality of life.

........'c.

-'::" ,

-..,". -:".-.-

~

~. ,,- -

?,~\{;)

x.xi
