Precipitation in the San Juan <br />Basin has been very lo~ the past fe~ months. This has affected the <br />expected inflow into Navajo for the April through July runoff <br />period. The runoff is expected to be only 275,000 acre-feet or 36 <br />percent of average. <br /> <br />Currently releases from Navajo are 605 cfs. With the low amount of <br />inflow forecasced for 1996, releases will probably remain near 605 <br />cfs through the rest of the water year. <br /> <br />Anyone needing information about daily operations please contact <br />Don Fazzan or Rege Leach at the Durango Office at (970) 385-6500. <br /> <br />GLEN CANYON - This spring'S runoff into Lake Powell is projected to <br />be abou c 7.465 MAF, 96 percent of average, a drop from the 115 <br />percent forecasted during May.
