<br />00~n~ <br />" .' .J <br />.~ . ~_v <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT PLAN <br /> <br />STEP #1 - IDENTIFICATION OF INTERESTED PARTIES <br /> <br />Identify those national, state and local government agencies, organizations, <br /> <br />groups and individuals who would normally be interested in this type of <br /> <br />study and/or specifically the Encampment River. Also, identify the <br /> <br />media to be used in notifying the general public. <br /> <br />The Routt National Forest's mailing list, the Bureau of Outdoor Recreation's <br /> <br />mailing list for the Yampa River study along with individual recommendations <br /> <br />will be used to identify interest parties. <br /> <br />The news media located in Steamboat Springs, Encampment, Laramie and <br /> <br />Fort Collins will be used to communicate with the general public. <br /> <br />Myrick <br /> <br />June 11th <br /> <br />STEP #2 - NOTIFICATION <br /> <br />Notify, by letter, all interested parties that the study is in progress. <br /> <br />Notify the general public through news release~to the news media located <br /> <br />in the towns listed under Step #1. <br />
