Benton and Washington Counties alone contributed <br />in excess of $195 million to the state total. Statewide, Arkansas. This area includes the entire State <br />of Arkansas. Major drainage is by the Arkansas, White, Red, Ouachita, <br />and St. Francis River. The total land area is 53,102 square miles. <br />Major river basins are: Arkansas, White, Red, Ouachita, St. Francis. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Terrain varies from flat level delta to steep mountainous areas <br />with local relief exceeding 1600 feet. Elevation varies from 2823 <br />feet to less than 200 feet. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Arkansas' climate is generally classified as humid subtropical, <br />but considerable variation exists between high elevations in the <br />north and the southern extremes of the state.
