<br />Exhibit C <br />Page 6 of 45 <br /> <br />SIleet 2 of 3 <br />FLAMING GORGE STORAGE illlIT, UTAH - WYOMING <br /> <br />The National Park Service and Forest Service have coope~ted closely <br />in developing recreational sites on Flaming Gorge Lake. Improvements <br />have been completed or underway at four major developed areas, in <br />addition to minor developments throughout the area. <br /> <br />In utah - <br /> <br />Lucerne Valley: Construction of facilities is essentially complete. <br />Facilities include boat ramp, docks, parking areas, campground, pic- <br />nic area and shelters, water and sewer systems, sanitary facilities, <br />fish cleaning stations, visitor contact stations, employee residences, <br />utility buildings, access and circulatory roads. Additional develop- <br />ments constructed this year were sanitation facilities, swimming beach, <br />campground shade structure, campground sites, seeding and planting. <br /> <br />Antelope Flat: Facilities previously completed include a campground, <br />picnic area and shelters, access and circulatory roads, culinary and <br />irrigation water system, sewer system, utility buildings, boat ramp, <br />parking areas, fish cleaning station, and visitor contact station. <br />Additional developments completed this year were swimming beach, sani- <br />tation and campground facilities. <br /> <br />In "'Yoming - <br /> <br />Buckboard Crossing: Facilities already constructed include a boat <br />ramp, access and circulatory roads, sanitation facilities, water and <br />sewage systems. Facilities added this year include boat docks, sani- <br />tation facilities, and fish cleaning station. <br /> <br />Firehole Site: Access road, boat ramp and parking areaS were pre- <br />viously provided. This year boat docks and sanitation facilities <br />were added. <br /> <br />The Bureau of Sport Fisheries and Wildlife worked in cooperation <br />with the wyoming Game and Fish Department and the Utah Fish and Game <br />Department in the following activities during IT 1968. <br /> <br />(1) Stocked Flaming Gorge Reservoir with about a million fish <br />obtained from Federal hatcheries. Seventy percent of these were <br />rainbow trout fingerlings. In addition, State facilities provided <br />numbers of brown trout, kokanee salmon, and crappie. <br /> <br />(2) Continued Joint fishery investigations at Flaming Gorge <br />Reservoir. The objective is to obtain useful information which may <br />be helpful in sustaining or improving fishing. <br />
