Sane feel these uses of water <br />will be given even higher priority in the future. <br /> <br />SCOPE OF REVIE\'i <br /> <br />Many of the facts we cite in this report were taken <br />fror,] reports issued by the Bureau of Reclal'lation, U.S. <br />Water Resources Council, Environnental Protection Agency <br />(EPA), Upper Color:ado River CO[1l1ission, National Water <br />COI1T.lission, the seven basin States, the U.S. Geological <br />Survey (USGS), and various agencies of the Departl1ent of <br />the Interior. Appendix II lists the principal reports, <br />docur.1ents, and studies we used in preparing this report. <br />We also obtained information from congressional hearings <br />and fr:om the books, records, and reports of the Bureau <br />of Reclamation at Salt Lake City, Utah; Boulder City, <br />Nevada; Denver, Colorado; the Bureau of Indian Affairs <br />at Phoenix, Arizona; and EPA in Washington, D.C.
