As an independent regional commission, it also <br />provides a forum in which States meet with Federal agencies to conduct water and related land resources <br />planning. The Commission's Chairman is appointed by the President; its Vice-Chairman is elected from <br />among State members. <br /> <br />MRBC members are Colorado; Iowa; Kansas; Minnesota; Missouri; Montana; Nebraska; Nonh Dakota; <br />South Dakota; Wyoming; Depanment of Agriculture; Depanment of the Army; Depanment of Commerce; <br />Depanment of Energy; Environmental Protection Agency; Depanment of Health, Education and Welfare; <br />Depanment of Housing and Urban Development; Depanment of the Interior; Depanment of Transponation; <br />Yellowstone River Compact Commission; Big Blue River Compact Administration.
