The present Firm Transmission Rate became effec- <br /> <br />tive in 1974, while the present Non-Firm Transmission Rate became effective in <br /> <br />1965. Western expects that the effective date for its proposed CRSP Rates will <br /> <br />be April 1, 1983. <br /> <br />The Rate Brochure states that the "average annual increase in cost in <br /> <br />the current studies as compared to the studies run in support of the existing <br /> <br />rates is about $25.0 million.
