Impacts on Property

One issue that was rated as highly important was the property damage as a consequence of
more erosion and flooding resulting from moving more water. There were two other ranked
issues that fit into this category and all three essentially speak to the same problem. Erosion
and flooding on Fountain Creek is already recognized as a major problem for property
owners but meeting participants were concerned about other streams as well.

ert : Issues

Score
4
2
1
2.3

reater releases

. Many socioeconomic issues and concerns associated with each alternative have been
identified. The issues have been organized around four types of impacts: recreation,
agriculture, visual, and construction.
. A set of socioeconomic impacts pertaining to the overall project was collected, ranked in
degree of importance, and grouped into five categories of impacts.
. These preliminary results provide the basis for more specific and detailed analysis following
the development of the Preferred Storage Option Plan.
. Socioeconomic impact analysis must be submitted to public scoping as part of the NEPA
process.
. Although several socioeconomic impacts of potential importance have been discovered, at
this stage no fatal flaw has been identified.

Page 9 ot 10
