ThIs informal ion appears <br />to confirm the hypothesis that the wells aCled as conduits for saline Water. In September 1984. salt <br />loading from the dome had decreased from the prep lugging level of ahout :!6,O()O tons per year to <br />about 7,000 10ns pt:'r year.
