The tramway was constructed by the contractor <br />for use in hauling supplies and equipment to the Lily Pad con- <br />struction site. This eliminated construction of 0 haul road and <br />avoided unnecessary landscape scarring. The tramway is powered <br />by the 100 hp Ottumwa mine hoist shown under protective cover. <br />Revegetotion and tree planting will be used to restore the cleared <br />area after removal of the tramway. <br />
