The water scheduled to be <br />released will generate about 83.2 percent of <br />defined firm energy, The estimated monthly <br />Hoover releases during the operaUng year <br />total 7.5 million acre-'..t. Ill. estimated that <br />generaHon from these Hoover releases, along <br />. with the Hoover to Parker-Davis Interchange, <br />w\\\ resun \n delivery to the altottees '\)~ about <br />3.3 Dillion kWh of electrical energy. <br /> <br />The lower Nevada penstock Is scheduled for <br />reconditlonlng during water year 1983. Also <br />scheduled this year Is the upratlng of <br />Generating Unlt N-7 and the replacement of <br />turbine runners In Units A-6 and N-5. <br /> <br />Unit 2 at DavIs Dam damaged Its lower guide, <br />bearing twice la'3t year. A major overhaul of <br />. the thrust bearing support was conducted <br />along with reallnement of the unit. This unit <br />was scheduled to go back on line the first part <br />of this water year. <br /> <br />The following charts lIIustrate Lower BaSIn <br />generator unit outage schedules for water <br />year 1982 and water year 1983. <br />
