<br />Flaming Gorge Reservoir <br />[Green River] <br /> <br /> <br />Transformer under construction. <br /> <br />Water Year 1882 <br />At the beginning of water year 1982, the <br />resorvolr water surface elevation was 6018 <br />reet with a content or 2,913,700 acre-feet, <br />Prior to the spring runoff I the reservoir <br />elevation was drawn down to 6010 feet. The <br />April through July 1982 runoff above Flaming <br />Gorge was 1,458,000 acre--feet, 126 percent of <br />the long.term average. With this runoff, the <br />resel\lolr reached Its seasonal maximum <br />elevation of 6036 feet with a content of <br />3,590,600 acre-feet by' mid-August. This <br />approximate elevation was maintaIned <br />through the end of the water year, and by <br />September 30, 1982, the elevation wes 6038 <br />feet with a content of 3,572,300 acre-feet. <br /> <br />"The normal minimum release a1 F\am\ng <br />Gorge Reservoir Is 800 cts. The maximum <br />release through the powerplant Is 4,600 cfe at <br />rated head. Flow In the river below the dam, <br />however.
