Love <br />Governor of the State of Colorado <br />Denver, COlorado <br /> <br />Sirs: <br /> <br />The postponed 30th Annual Meeting of the Rio Grande Compact Commission was held <br />at Santa Fe, New Mexico, on May 15, 1969. <br /> <br />The Commission reviewed its prior reports and current reports of the Secretary <br />relative to stream flow at Compact gaging stations and storage in reservoirs. The <br />Commission found that: <br /> <br />(a) Deliveries of water in Rio Grande by Colorado at the COlorado-New Mexico <br />State line amounted to 330,800 acre-feet, which was approximately six percent <br />more than the scheduled delivery in 1968. The accrued debit of Colorado was <br />thereby reduced to 923,900 acre-feet as of December 31, 1968. <br /> <br />(b) Deliveries of water into Elephant Butte Reservoir by New Mexico, as measured <br />by the Elephant Butte Effective SUpply, was 604,600 acre-feet, which was <br />sixteen percent in excess of the scheduled delivery in 1968.
