Funds status <br /> <br />The amount of Section 7 funds available as of October 1,2001, is approximately $275,000. <br />These funds are maintained in the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation interest-bearing <br />account, as explained above. <br /> <br />4.2. Proiects funded with Water User (Section 7) funds <br /> <br />Three projects will be funded with Colorado River Section 7 funds in FY 2002 and FY 2003. <br />These are: <br /> <br />a. Services of a consultant to evaluate water rights offered to or sought by the Recovery <br />Program (up to $1O,OOO/year). <br /> <br />b. Peer review of scopes of work and project reports containing geomorphological <br />components related to habitat needs and instream flow requirements (up to $IO,OOO/year). <br /> <br />c. Technical assistance to evaluate and respond to to public comments on recovery goals, <br />conduct a population estimates workshop, and detennine the amount of floodplain habitat <br />needed to support recovered populations of razorback sucker ($43,500 in FY 02). <br /> <br />5. RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> <br />This work plan will be reviewed and revised as necessary to accommodate changes, especially <br />with regard to FY 2003 activities. <br /> <br />8 <br />
