The <br />reservoir was emptied at 0900 MDT on July 8. 1972. <br />(f) Rains in the Arkansas River valley caused sufficient inflow <br />into John Martin Reservoir for the gates to be closed for <br />storage at 1800 MDT on July 22, 1972. The Secretary <br />notified the Colorado State Engineer that water was <br />available for storage in John Martin Reservoir. <br />(g) A special telephonic meeting of the Administration was <br />held on July 23, 1972 for the purpose of finding that the <br />reservoir would become empty on July 23. 1972. The <br />Colorado State Engineer was notified of the action and that <br />the priority administration of decreed water rights would <br />commence on that date unless a change of conditions <br />justified cancellation or modification of the notice.
