A decree in accordance with the <br /> <br />Court's opinion was rendered in 1945 and subsequently was amended in I953. <br /> <br />Regarding the State of Colorado, three 1 imitations were set forth. <br /> <br />Colorado is enjoined from diverting or permitting diversion of water from the <br /> <br />North Platte River and its tributaries for irrigation of more than a total of <br /> <br />145,000 acres of land in Jackson, County, Colorado (Node Basin 180033), during <br /> <br />anyone irrigation season. Relative to storage, Colorado is enjoined from <br /> <br />storing more than a total of 17,000 acre-feet of water from the North Platte <br /> <br />River system in Jackson County between October 1 and September 3n or the <br /> <br />following year.' <br /> <br />The states of Wyoming and Neb~aska also were presented with certain <br /> <br />limitations. Adjudication by the court set forth the following guidelines <br /> <br />relevant to this study: <br /> <br />.
