In <br />1985, Iho hatchelY produced 223,913 <br />pounds 01 lish. <br /> <br />Hotchkiss National Fish Hatchery: The <br />hatchery is localed on Ihe north lark of <br />Ihe Gunnison River near Hotchkiss, CO. <br />Its oulput of 121, 965 pounds of fish wonl <br />principally lor stocking requirements 01 <br />Blue Mesa. Crawlord. Lemon, and Silver- <br />jack Reservoirs in Colorado and Navato <br />Reservoir in Colorado and New Mexico <br /> <br />One national wildlile refuge and three <br />waterfowl areas under Stale administra- <br />tion are now being developed. <br /> <br />Seedskadee National Wildlife Refuge: <br />The refuge lies along Iho Green River <br />below Fonlenelle Darn, Wyoming, and <br />since 1966, has been administered by the <br />Fish and Wildlife Service. Development of <br />refuge lands is continuing during Ihe <br />year. <br /> <br />Brown's Park Waterfowl Management <br />Area: The area, under administration of <br />the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources, IS <br />located below Flaming Gorge Reservoir <br />on the Green River near the Utah-Colo- <br />rado Stale line. The overall management <br />area is attracting numerous resident and <br />migratory game bird populations and is <br />increasing in public popularily as a <br />fishing, hunting, and bird-watching area. <br /> <br />Ogden Bay Waterfowl Management <br />Area: This area is belween the eastern <br />shore 01 the great Salt Lake and Willard <br />Bay. Tills area conSists of 3,104 acres of <br />sloughs and fields planted with grains and <br />weed seed for walerfowl food and cover. <br />Tradilionally bird use 01 the area is heavy. <br />With the rising walers of tile Great Salt <br />Lake, this and other areas around the <br />lake becomes more critical. <br /> <br /> <br />. ~ <br />~. - ..u":.:-... <br />'," ~ 't <br /> <br />" .~~ <br /> <br />~ "."
