Studies were also Initiated on the Lower Gun- nison North Fork salinity controi unit of the Colorado River Water Quality Im- provement Program (CRWOIP) Major social, economic, and demographic studies continued on the Lower Gunnison Winter Water, Price-San Rafael, Paradox, and Dirty Devil salinity control units of the CRWOIP Studies on the Meeker Dome, Uinta BaSin, Glenwood-Dotsero Springs, Grarld Valley II, salinity control units of tile CRWOIP were completed A Unique monitoring study on the Dolores Project construction program was com- pleted. ThiS study tested procedures for impact projection and effect analysis while providing the Cortez Projects Office an enhanced data base for continued public involvement. Many of these studies utilize the Eco- nomic and Demographic Program (SEDAP) and the Multi-Attribute Trade-off System (MATS) to place economic and demographic present and Juture condi- tions. with and Without the proposed pro- jects, Into perspective Subjective non- statistical effects are analyzed using mutually enhancing social assessment and public involvement techniques in all project Investigations. Although these studies are conducted by regional and project office personnel, close coordination is maintained with the project area's affected population.
