<br />CONTENTS . <br /> <br />The Colorado River Storage Project <br />(CRSP) is a basinwide program at devel- <br />opment and use of wafer resources ot <br />the Upper Colorado River. and is one of <br />the mosf complex and exfensive river <br />resources developments in the world. <br /> <br />It takes in the drainage area of the Upper <br />Colorado River BaSin. encompassing <br />parts ot Wyoming. Utah. Colorado. <br />Arizona. and New Mexico - about one- <br />twelfth of the continental area at the <br />United States. CRSP storage units (Glen <br />Canyon. Flaming Gorge. Navajo. and the <br />Wayne N. Aspinall Unit dams) equalize <br />the erratic flows of the Colorado River <br />and its main tributaries so that water <br />delivery commitments to the lower Basin <br />States - California. Arizona and Nev- <br />ada - can be met even in years of low <br />flow. <br /> <br />The remaining water in the Upper Basin <br />can then serve the needs at farmers, <br />munlcipalifles. and Industries.
