<br />APPENDIX 1 <br /> <br />~ <br />r~ CHARGES TO COMMITTEES <br />~ <br />~ <br />~ COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING STANDING COMMITTEE <br />~ <br /> <br />Overall Functional Charge <br /> <br />This committee will participate on behalf of AWRBIAC in regional planning and <br />national assessment studies. It will monitor activities of IAc's, WRC's, RBC's, <br />aDd State and Federal legislation, reporting on significant items as needed and <br />will function as the policy review element of AWRBIAC. <br /> <br />Charge FY 1986 <br /> <br />I. PreseDt a program to AWRBIAC on State water planning. <br /> <br />2. Comprehensive review of Interstate Compacts in Arkansas-White-Red Basin. <br /> <br />EXCHANGE OF PROGRAM INFORMATION STANDING COMMITTEE <br /> <br />Overall Functional Charge <br /> <br />1. Consider and make recommendations to AWRBIAC on methods of operation to <br />improve the exchange of program information in the interest of coordination of <br />anticipated studies, studies in progress, planning programs, project construc- <br />tion agencies, and such other related matters of exchange of program information <br />as may be brought to the attentioD of the committee by AWRBIAC or its members. <br /> <br />2. Remain sufficiently familiar with the activities of the State and Federal <br />agencies to identify problems and potential problems involving exchange of <br />information and recommend solutions thereto. <br /> <br />3. Prepare reports, as needed, to reflect progress and status of planning, <br />construction, operation, and other program activities relating to project <br />development of State and Federal construction. <br /> <br />Charge FY 1986 <br /> <br />1. Continue to prepare and distribute the EPIC Report every 2 years. <br /> <br />2. Coordinate on a rotatioDal basis for each member to report in more detail on <br />their projects or programs. <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL RESOURCES STANDING COMMITTEE <br /> <br />Overall Functional Charge <br /> <br />Provide advice, recommendations, and support to the AWRBIAC on environmental <br />issues related to planning, development, and management of water reSources <br />
