<br />Ofl')?C\> <br />u'-.J1>...l '-- ; <br /> <br />FOREWORD <br /> <br />This DIRECTORY of Members and Administrative Personnel of participa~ing <br />States and Federal agencies in the MISSOURI IlASIN INTER-AGENCY COl>R>lITTEE <br />FISCAL YEAR 1963, has been prepared as an aid to the Committee in carrying <br />out its responsibilities as defined in the MBIAC Charter, dated March 29, 1945, <br />Revised November 16, 195/f, which sets forth in paragraph 2, PURPOSE, the <br />following: <br /> <br />It is the purpose of this agreement to provide in the Missouri River <br />region improved faciH ties and procedures for the coordination of the <br />policies, programs and activities of the Departments of the Interior; <br />Commerce; Labor; Agriculture; Health, Education, and Welfare; and the <br />Army; the Federal Power Commission; and the States in the field of <br />water and related land resources investigation, planning, construction, <br />operation, and maintenance; to provide means by which confli~ts may be <br />resolved; and to provide procedures for coordination of their interests <br />with those of other Federal, local governmental, and private agencies <br />in the water and related land resourceS field. <br /> <br />This Charter was revised pursuant to the Inter-Agency Agreement on Coordina- <br />tion of.Water and Related Land Resources Activities, approved by the President <br />on May 26, 1954. <br /> <br />DIRECTORY prepared in Fiscal Year 1963 <br />by MBIAC and distributed with Minutes of <br />131st Meeting, Jackson Lake Lodge, Wyoming <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />~~~;:~~~;;; <br />~~~t~~~ <br />.
