They arrive <br /> <br />from the north in December and leave in April. <br /> <br />During the winter their <br /> <br />hunting range is predominently on rangeland and along water courses at lower <br /> <br />elevations. <br /> <br />Bald eagles are considered rare in the area. <br /> <br />Reptiles and Amphibians <br /> <br />Reptiles and amphibians in the study area include a variety of snakes, <br /> <br />lizards, salamanders, toads and frog$. <br /> <br />No species list has b"en prepared <br /> <br />although they do exist in the area. <br /> <br />-8, <br />
