Water demands have been estimated for individual districts and the study area as a whole. <br />Figure 2.3 represents water demands for total populations in Douglas County and the water <br />provider participants in south-central Arapahoe County, although not all development will <br />be served by the water providers participating in this study. The water providers who are <br />participating in this study represent about 72% of the projected water demand while other <br />water needs will be met by the Parker Water and Sanitation District (20%), and individual <br />wells or smaller water districts. The member water districts project year 2020 water <br />demands of 87,862 acre-feet per year and year 2050 water demands of 99,129 acre-feet per <br /> <br />Page 2-8 <br />
