The golf course will be open from <br /> <br />April 16 through October 31 each year; the public facilities will be open <br /> <br /> <br />year-round. <br /> <br />Water demand for the proposed development was estimated based on <br /> <br />guidelines published by the Colorado State Department of Health. <br /> <br /> <br />climatological data published by NOAA, and on the Blaney-Criddle method <br /> <br /> <br />for estimating irrigation water requirements. Total water requirements <br /> <br /> <br />are shown in Table 1. <br /> <br />Public Facilities <br /> <br />Proposed public facilities will include a 25-unit overnight lodge with <br /> <br />baths but no kitchens; hookups for up to 50 recreational vehic les; a <br /> <br />health spa with showers, sauna, bathrooms, and an outdoor swimming pool; a <br /> <br />restaurant with 30-person seating capacity; and a launderette with 10 <br /> <br />machines. Water demand for the pub lic facilities was based on the <br /> <br /> <br />following assumptions: <br /> <br />. lodge demand is 130 gallons per unit per day: <br /> <br />. recreational vehicle hookups require 130 gallons per site per day: <br /> <br />. health club demand is 30 gallons per patron, and 50 patrons per day: <br /> <br />. restaurant demand is 45 gallons per seat per day; and <br /> <br />. launderette demand is three loads per day per machine, and 50 gallons <br />per load. <br /> <br />- 3 - <br />
