<br />13 <br /> <br />o <br />-.J <br />~ <br />~ <br /> <br />Canal diversions <br /> <br />Canal diversions are read in through the main program and <br /> <br />summarized in the subroutine WATER. There are three routes which <br /> <br />canal diversions can ta~e: <br /> <br />(1) Canal seepage. This quantity is computed fro:m the <br /> <br />conveyance efficiency for each canal, which was derived <br /> <br />from canal seepage measurements conducted as a part <br /> <br />of the demonstration project. Seepage losses are assumed <br /> <br />to be direct additions to the ground water. <br /> <br />(2) Lateral diversions.
