The participants should be water and related land resource <br />planning professionals either participating in or knowledgeable <br />of the problems identified in ongoing and completed water <br />and related land resource studies (Federal, State, and local) <br />within the region. <br /> <br />2. At least one representative of the Governor of each State <br />within the region should be a participant. Other representa- <br />tives of State and regional water agencies also should be <br />encouraged to participate. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />3. At least one representative from each major Federal water <br />department should be a participant. <br /> <br />4. The Regional Study Director should chair this group of par- <br />ticipants as they develop the initial problem list. <br /> <br />In selecting participants for Sub-activity Four, the Regional Sponsor <br />should follow the general guidance on public participation provided in <br />Appendix B and the following specific criteria (participants in sub- <br />activities Four will be referred to as Group B): <br /> <br />1.. The participants in Sub-activity Four should inchode all of those <br />who participated in Sub-activity Two, plus additional participants <br />as selected by the Regional Sponsor. <br /> <br />2. Because Sub-activity Four is basically a review Activity <br />participants should represent a wide but balanced variety of <br />interests and attitudes throughout the entire region to insure <br />that no severe problem within the region is overlooked. <br /> <br />The WRC requests that names, addresses and professional affiliation of all <br />selected participants be provided to the Council for subsequent referral. All <br />participants will receive a copy of the final Assessment Report. <br /> <br />e <br />
