What is the Policy Regarding Clearing on Project Lands? <br /> <br />Ordinarily, all fences, buildings, and improvements will be removed from <br />lands acquired by the United States for the project. Certain areas will <br />be left in their natural state for fish and wildlife habitat. <br /> <br />Existing roads, utilities, and pipelines will be relocated where necessary. <br />Such relocations will be handled by separate and special contracts with <br />owners of the involved facilities and do not ordinarily affect individual <br />landowners. <br /> <br />17.
