On the south the boundary is the <br />Colorado River, and on the east, State Route No. 13. <br /> <br />The area under investigation lies entirely within Garfield <br />County, Colorado. <br /> <br />C. CANDIDATE STREAMS AND WATERWAYS FOR EMERGENCY RESERVOIR <br />LOCATION <br /> <br />The NOSR-l has several candidate streams and waterways suit- <br /> <br /> <br />able for consideration and study as an emergency reservoir <br /> <br />location. The waterways considered, beginning at the north- <br /> <br />erly portion of the NOSR-l, included the following: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />o Trapper Creek <br />o Northwater Creek <br />o Ben Good Creek <br />o JQS Gulch <br />o Golden Gulch <br />o East Fork of Parachute Creek <br />o Bull Gulch <br />o First Anvil Creek <br />o Second Water Gulch <br />o Third Water Gulch <br /> <br />The major creeks of the drainage area located east and <br />southeast of the Roan Cliffs which were also considered for <br />emergency reservoir location included: <br /> <br />o Balzac Gulch <br />o Yellow Slide Gulch <br />o Hubbard Gulch <br /> <br />111-3 <br />
