Walker, Acting Director, Southwest Region,

National Park Service, which enclosed a notice of public hearing

and a brochure on the subject proposal. The proposed wilderness

area is located just east of our proposed Closed Basin Division,

San Luis Valley Project, Colorado. However, we believe there

would be no conflict between the two proposals and therefore have

no objection to creation of the wilderness area. We do not plan

to be represented at the public hearing in Alamosa, Colorado, on

July 1.

ELLIS L.
