Also no attempt will be made to identify <br />consumptive uses satisfied by ground water overdraft. (It ~ <br /> <br />is recognized that the value of the report would be enhanced <br /> <br />if channel-loss salvage and uses satisfied by ground water <br /> <br />overdraft could be included. However, it is felt that <br /> <br />there is insufficient data and data analysis to make a <br /> <br />confident estimate of these values at this time.) Initial <br /> <br />filling of dead storage on new reservoirs will be considered <br /> <br />a permanent loss to the system. So also will be the <br /> <br />buildup of the ground water table under newly irrigated <br /> <br />lands. <br /> <br />Reporting Areas <br /> <br />Figure 1 shows the nine reporting areas used in the first report.
