-.....
--

~
....
....
ol:llo

.

.

SCHEDULE

A schedule showing activities and achievements for the participating

offices and agencies is shown in Figure 2. As the schedule shows, primary

activity will be in the UC and LC Regional Offices. Technical and policy

review will be made by the E&R Center and Commissioner's Office, respectively,

at four achievement stages: (1) Plan of Study, (2) Preliminary Results,

(3) Draft Report, and (4) Final Report. The Basin States and the Upper

Colorado River Commission will be asked to review and comment on the Plan of

Study, prelUuinary results, and the Draft Report. Early in the schedule the

states will also be asked to submit data, reports, and studies which would be

helpful in this effort. Several meetings will be required between E&R, UC,

and LC personnel to insure that consistency is being achieved in ca~culation

methodology and reporting procedure. Also early in the process a meeting

between the Upper Colorado River Commission's Engineering and Legal Committees

and representatives of the UC and LC Regions and possibly the E&R Center would

be desirable. About one year after the Plan of Study is agreed on the report

should be ready for printing.

The Upper Colbr4do Regional Office will arrange for the printing (about

1,000 copies). The Commiasioner's Office will prepare a letter of transmittal

for the Secretary's signature and the report will be distributed to the

President, the Congress, the Upper Colorado River Commission, and the Lower

Basin States. After that, supplies of the report will be kept in the UC and

LC Regional offices and sent out on request.

The schedule also. indicates that a 1 imited m.anber of technical appendices

. will be distributed to the E&R Center, the Upper Colorado River Commission, and

the Lower Basin States.

15
