Records will be obtained from the power companies.

(3) Other

The base for estimating these uses will be the urban and rural

population within the reporting areas. Preparation of annual

population estimates will be guided by the 1980 Census, and

various State and county statistical reviews and reports which

include population estimates for local areas.

Net water use rates for domestic, urban, and rural uses in the

various reporting areas will be derived from available studies.

A table of population in each reporting area will be included.

Records of municipal and industrial water use will be obtained

where available.

Recreation, Fish and Wildlife

Where actual use records are not available reports of visitor-day use at

recreational areas multiplied by estimated use rates, together with water used

for landscape irrigation will provide the estimates of recreation use. Fish

and Wildlife uses will probably consist only of water consumed at fish hatcheries

and manmade wildlife refuges.

12
