The Lower Tanner reach is longer <br />(about 1200m). has significant curvature and does not contain a large recirculation <br />zone that dominates the sand storage in the reach. The outside of the bend. along <br />river right. is bordered by bedrock clilTs along the Upper half of the reach. The area <br />near the outlet on river right consists of a low gravelly bench.
