<br />'?"'I <br />r:'-J <br />C'J <br />~.-i <br /> <br />(,:) <br />, "\ <br />~ <br /> <br />(6) San ~roial Index Supply is the reoorded flow of tile Rio Jr~de at the <br />gaging station at San l'arcial during the_calendar year exclusive of the flow <br />durinG the months of' July, August and 3eptember. <br /> <br />The epplication of this sohedule ahall be subjeot to the provisions here- <br />inafter set forth and appropriate edjustments shall be made for (a) any change <br />in location of gegin& statior..; (b) d.epletion after 1929 in rew Mexico at any <br />time of the year of the natural runoff et Otowi Bridge, (c) depletion of the <br />runoff during July, August and September of tributaries between otowi Bridge <br />and San Marcial, by works constructed efter 1937; end (d) any transmountain <br />diversions into the Hio Gra.nde between Lobatos and San }.~arcial. <br /> <br />Concurrent records shall be kept of the flow of the Rio Grande at San War- <br />cia1, near San Acacia, and of the release from Elephant Butte Reservoir to the <br />end that t~,e records at these three stations may be correlated. (Note, See <br />Resolution of the Cor:nnission at page 17). <br /> <br />ARTICLE V <br /> <br />If at any time it should be the unan~ous findinG and deternination of <br />the Commission thut because of chanGed physical oonditions, or for any other <br />reason, reliable records era not obtait:o.ble. or cannot be obtained, a t any of <br />the stream gaging stations herein referred to, such stations may, with the un- <br />aninlous approval cf the Commission, be abandoned, an~ with such approval another <br />station, or ethers stations, shall be efjtablished and new measurements shall <br />be substituted which, in the unanimous opinion of the Commission, will result <br />in substantially the same results, so far as the rights and obligations to de- <br />liver water sre concerned, as would have existed if such substitution of sta- <br />tions and meesurements had not been so made. (Note: See Resolution of the <br />Commission at page 17). <br /> <br />i', <br /> <br />ARTI CLE VI <br /> <br />Commencing with the year following the effeotive date of this Compact, <br />all credits and debits of colorado and New ~exioo shall be computed for each <br />calendar yoar, provided, that in a year of actual spill no annual credits nor <br />anDus.l debi ts shall be computed for that year. <br /> <br />In the case of Colorado, no annual debit nor acorued debit sheU exceed <br />10C,OOO aore feet, except as either or both may be caused by holdover storage <br />of water in reservoirs construoted after 1937 in the drainage basin of the <br />Rio Grande above Lobatos.
