On the tenth year, follow-up will be gathered on <br /> <br />two operators who have com pIe ted LTA' s or irrigation improvements. <br /> <br />Level 2. <br /> <br />Every third year ten operators will be selected and information <br /> <br />gathered on their operation. Beginning with the sixth year of the study, <br /> <br />follow-up data will be gathered on three operators who have completed LTA I S or <br /> <br />irrigation improvements. <br /> <br />Level 3. <br /> <br />The first year operators that have improlTements or LTA's completed, <br /> <br />operators that have signed agreements with no work started, and operators that <br /> <br />will probably never sign LTA' s should be interviewed. Eaeh year interviews <br /> <br />should be gathered from operators by type of operation and type of irrigation <br /> <br />system. Annually fifteen operators will be selected and information gathered <br /> <br />from them. Beginning with the fifth year of the study, follow-up interviews <br /> <br />should be made with five previously interviewed operators that have completed <br /> <br />their LTA's or irrigation improvement. <br /> <br />Develop Onfarm Crop Budgets <br /> <br />A computer will be used to develop crop budgets to study c:hanges in quantity of <br /> <br />production, production cost and labor cost. <br /> <br />Develop Basin Impacts <br /> <br />Levell. This is a minimum effort determination. A model wIll be run every <br /> <br />five years. Cost is $30,000. Basic information gathered from onfarm case <br /> <br />history studies will be aggregated basin wide to identify total effects. The <br /> <br />change in activity in commodities of the basin will be used to determine the <br /> <br />44 <br />
