Water released <br />from this upper reservoir generates electricity os it passes through <br />the p~lc~plant for rcrcgulation i~ Morrow Point Reservoir irr~ed~ tely <br />do~'rnst:.-cam. Present t'l~ter releases through the Morrow Point D.:l!U and <br />l'ol,erplant <ire as uniform as possible. With the construction of the <br />future Crystal D.:::m and Reservoir, Horr:m Point ~lill be operated for <br />po,"er production and. Crystal Reservoir will regulate the flol'J of the <br />river. Po\.;er produced is t~ansmitted to pO\-1er Ii1arket. areas and <br />revenues go to,"ard paymant for this and irrigation projec ts inc lud ed <br />in the Colorado River Storage Project Act mentioned above.
