To accommodate the Pole Hill Powerplant
maintenance scheduled, diversions will then be minimized to prevent a
bypass release. Adams Tunnel and Olympus Tunnel diversions will resume on
March 30 when the Pole Hill Powerplant maintenance is completed and should
be near 270 ft3/s through April 30. As runoff develops in late April and
early May, Adams Tunnel diversions will be adjusted to accommodate runoff
timing on the east and west slopes.

Approximately 35,000 acre-feet of carryover irrigation water from the 1990
water year Colorado-Big Thompson Project quota water allotment wi 11 be
delivered from April 1 through July 15.

Horsetooth Reservoir is expected to reach a storage content of
142,000 acre-feet by the end of May, which is 14,700 acre-feet below the
maximum reservoir storage of 156,700 acre-feet (elevation 5430.00 feet).

Adams Tunnel diversion will be down to 4,700 acre-feet in June to take full
advantage of operation "skim." Under operation "skim," approximately
47,600 acre-feet of Big Thompson River water will be diverted at Lake Estes
through the Foothills Power System during April-September. The majority
of "skim" water (44,900 acre-feet) will be diverted during May, June, and
July.

Irrigation demands will draft Horsetooth Reservoir storage to approximately
72,000 acre-feet by September 30. No water will be pumped to Carter Lake
from May through September, and irrigation releases equal to
58,400 acre-feet will bring Carter Lake storage to near 49,000 acre-feet.
The combined east slope terminal storage will be 98 percent of normal at
the end of the water year.

22
