Since a 100 percent quota
was allotted and util ized in water year 1989, no carryover storage was
available to Project water users in water year 1990.

Timely precipitation allowed for seasonal water deliveries
(November 1989-0ctober 1990) to be only 54 percent of average for the
Project at 121,500 acre-feet, which was 33,500 acre-feet below the
50 percent quota allocation,

Project generation for the water year was below average at 91 percent of
average due to below normal transmountain diversions and facility
ma i ntenance. Schedul ed mai ntenance from March 17 through April 23 was
completed on Olympus Tunnel, Olympus Dam radial gate, Marys Lake Powerplant,
Lake Estes silt removal, and Pole Hill Powerplant, Afterbay, and Power
Canal.
