Russia reportedly is ex- <br />panding shale oil and shale gas output in satelite Estonia. <br />A new 10,000 barrel per day plant has been announced at <br />Kochtla Jarwe and Russian technical journals for several <br />years have been reporting on research in the field of oil <br />shale. <br />For about 10 years, Brazil has conducted research and <br />development work leading toward utilization of its extensive <br />oil shale resources.
